God is silent. Now if only man would shut up...!

Sometimes you don't have to say anything. Silence speaks it all. Silence is one of the hardest arguments to refute. He who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words. Silence is one of the great arts of conversation. Silence is so freaking loud.

The human heart has hidden treasures, In secret kept, in silence sealed; The thoughts, the hopes, the dreams, the pleasures, Whose charms were broken if revealed.

It's said that much talking is the cause of danger. Silence is the means of avoiding misfortune. The talkative parrot is shut up in a cage and other birds, without speech, fly freely about.

Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence. A man is known by the silence he keeps.  There's a degree of deception in silence. Silence is the last thing the world will ever hear from oneself. 

We don't need lists of rights and wrongs, tables of do's and don'ts: we need books, time, and silence. " Thou shalt not is soon forgotten, but Once upon a time lasts forever " . Meaning, the very truth that you ever existed, will soon be forgotten and people will move on with their life. what lasts is the fact that you existed once upon a time.  There is no such thing as an empty space or an empty time. There is always something to see, something to hear. In fact, try as we may to make a silence, we cannot.

Everything that's created comes out of silence. Your thoughts emerge from the nothingness of silence. Your words come out of this void. Your very essence emerged from emptiness. All creativity requires some stillness. Silence is so accurate. Never miss a good chance to shut up. 

Realise that you can listen to silence and learn from it. It has a quality and dimensions all of its own. 

God is the friend of silence. See how nature--trees, flowers, grass grows in silence; see the stars, the moon, and the sun, how they move in silence. Silence about a thing just magnifies it. Silence speaks when words can't. Silence never betrays you. Silence is often the best thing to say.  God is silent. Now if only man would shut up...!
